What to Expect From Your Consultation

No exam. No diagnosis. No pressure. A wellness consultation is exactly what it sounds like — a conversation with a pharmacist who takes the time to listen and answer your questions clearly.

    Fill out the short form below (takes about two minutes) or give us a call. Tell us what you'd like to talk about and when works best for you. Our team will follow up within one business day to confirm the time and format — phone or a Zoom video call.

  2. Your Conversation

    Plan for a 20–30 minute conversation with a member of our pharmacy team — usually Jason Kizer, PharmD, MSCP or another pharmacist with specialized training in wellness and hormone health. We'll talk about your questions, your goals, what you've tried, and what might be worth exploring next.

  3. Clear Next Steps

    You leave with a clearer picture. That might mean scheduling a follow-up conversation with your healthcare provider armed with better questions, exploring a supplement protocol we can put together, transferring an existing prescription to Kizer, or simply knowing what to keep an eye on. Whatever the next step is, you won't be left wondering.

How much does a consultation cost?
A wellness consultation is $100, and a BHRT consultation is $150. When you schedule a consultation, you receive 10% off all items in our Shop. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges.
How long does a consultation take?
Plan for about 20–30 minutes. Some consultations are shorter, others run a bit longer depending on how many questions you have. We won't rush you out the door.
Can I do the consultation by phone or video instead of in-person?
Yes. We offer phone consultations as well as Zoom video calls. Pick whichever works best for you. The conversation is the same either way.
Is there any obligation if I schedule a consultation?
No. The goal of a consultation is to help you think through your options — whether or not that eventually involves becoming a Kizer patient. Many people leave our consultations without needing anything else from us, and that's a good outcome too.
Do I need a prescription or referral to book a consultation?
No. A wellness consultation is a conversation, not a medical appointment. You don't need a prescription, a referral, or any prior relationship with our pharmacy. If the conversation leads to a prescription or compounded medication, that part is worked out with your healthcare provider.
Will a consultation replace an appointment with my doctor?
No, and it shouldn't. A pharmacist consultation doesn't include a medical exam, diagnosis, or prescription. What it can do is help you understand your options, sharpen the questions you bring to your healthcare provider, and — if your provider decides a compounded medication is appropriate — give you a pharmacy that takes the compounding process seriously.
When will I hear back after I submit the form?
Our team will follow up within one business day to confirm your consultation time and format. If you submit on a Friday evening, expect to hear from us on Monday.
What should I bring or prepare for a consultation?
If you have recent lab work, a list of medications or supplements you're taking, or notes on the symptoms you've been experiencing, bring those — they'll make the conversation more useful. If you don't have any of that, don't worry. Your questions are the most important thing you can bring.
Can I schedule a consultation for someone else — like a parent or spouse?
You can schedule the consultation, but the person who will actually be consulting should attend the conversation. The consultation is built around understanding their questions, their goals, and their situation.
What if I change my mind or need to reschedule?
No problem. Call us at (731) 885-2226 or reply to any email from our team and we'll reschedule without any hassle.
